Our client is located in the European quarter is easily reachable with public transports.

The main responsibilities for this job include:


The HR Assistant, members of a team of 4 persons, will support the HR Manager and other members with the day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.

  • As first HR contact point:

o Ensure the HR Mailbox management;

o Answer frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies, benefits, etc.;

o Refer recruitment, training or more complex questions to appropriate HR staff or management.

  • Onboarding and Outboarding activities:

o Lead the induction of newcomers;

o Ensure the employee creation in the payroll, benefits, … platforms;

o Lead the exit administrative follow-up. Support to the overall HR operation

o Compile, update employee files and records and performs periodic audits to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately;

o Manage the payroll systems (from employee creation, data updates to salaries monthly test) for Belgium (SD Worx) and other countries;

o Manage the absence and leaves requests via SD Worx platform;

o Draft the contracts addendum or letters;

o Manage the internal database (EIS);

o Initiate working permit requests documents collection.

  • Policies:

o Collect information to draft and develop policies according to Belgian law.

  • Reporting:

o Prepare weekly staff-flow overview;

o Drafting minutes of Management meeting, HR Q&A sessions, H&S Committee meeting, …;

o Drafting HR reports (KPIs, exits overview, …).

The requested qualifications for this job include:

  • You graduated with a degree in HR in Belgium and/or you have a first experience in HR where you have developed your knowledge in Belgian social law;
  • Full professional fluency in written and spoken English and French;
  • Having a first work experience in a European / international area is a plus.;
  • You have strong organizational and planning skills (to manage and deliver multiple requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment);
  • You are able to work autonomously, very discrete, and able to work within a multi-cultural environment and team;
  • You are a fast learner, accurate with data and curious mind.
